members and coaches and mangers for all your hard wotrk this season, without you guys there would
be no junioir rugby and just like to encourage any other parent out there to help out and get involved.
Most dedicated player - Benji Marx
Benji's commitment to the Hurricanes has been outstanding throughout the season. His dedication extends well beyond our regular team trainings, with him putting in extra work on his skills outside of scheduled training. This commitment has been evident in his continual improvement and development as a player.
Benji has also shown exceptional reliability, rarely missing a training session or game. Week after week, most of the time he arrives ready to work hard, learn, and give his best for the team.
One of the biggest improvements in Benji's game has been his tackling technique. Through consistent practice, determination, and a willingness to learn, he has made signi cant progress and become a much more confident and efective defender.
Benji's work ethic, commitment, and drive to continually improve make him a very deserving recipient of this award.
Most Improved Player - Isla Dentice.
At the beginning of the season, Isla was a hesitant and sometimes unsure of where she needed to be
on the field. However, through her willingness to listen, learn, and put coaching into practice, she has made remarkable progress throughout the year. Isla has developed into one of the team's most important players. She now runs the ball with
confedence and determination, tackles strongly, and is always eager to get involved. Her growth in both skill and confedence has been fantastic to watch.
One of the most pleasing aspects of Isla's development has been her leadership on the ield. She has
grown into a player who encourages and guides her teammates, this shows not only her understanding of the game but also her commitment to helping those around her. Isla's outstanding improvement, confedence, teamwork, and leadership make her a very deserving recipient of the Most Improved Player award.
MVP - Chase Waru
Throughout the season, Chase has consistently demonstrated the qualities this award represents. He is always eager to listen, takes on board coaching instructions, and continually strives to improve his game. His willingness to learn and positive attitude have seen him growin skill and ability each week.
Despite often being one of the smaller players on the field, Chase never backs down from a challenge. He shows incredible bravery, determination, and commitment every time he pulls on the jersey, taking on bigger opponents without hesitation, working hard at the breakdown and always giving his best for the team.
Chase is also a fantastic teammate. He encourages those around him, plays with enthusiasm, and displays excellent sportsmanship, making him a great role model for others in the team.
